My journey to becoming a general contractor started at the age of 14 drilling water wells in Iowa. This foundational opportunity led to work in underground excavation for residential homes. Over the next 8 years, I moved to Hawaii, took further initiative, and learned other facets of construction. With these specialized skills and passions, I honed my ability to manage various disciplines of construction. This included setting quality control, quality assurance, and safety as the highest priority. I spent four years developing my skill with a federal contractor who taught me how to manage large-scale projects. My experience spans local management in residential and commercial, industrial facilities, and underground utility projects.
With over 20 years of experience as a general contractor, and comprehensive understanding of construction, my background serves our client's best interests. It allows me to streamline projects, avoid scheduling conflicts, and cut unnecessary costs. I take on unparalleled responsibility when managing each project. I began my company in November of 2014 with the goal to provide local, trustworthy, and efficient project management on Oahu. In 2022 we branded our company Sebok Construction to reinforce the personal attention and commitment to our clients. Living and working on the islands has given me the necessary understanding of how to conduct business with professionalism, integrity, and most importantly, aloha.
